This core will provide services in genomics such as:

  • DNA sequencing and DNA fragment analyses

  • Qualitative and quantitative analyses of DNA and RNA samples

  • Microarray analyses of gene expression

  • Supportive bioinformatic for the above measure.

Dr. Leslie Kozak
Dr. Jeffrey Gimble

This core will develop and eventually provide services in cell biology such as:

  • Establishment of primary cell cultures from human and murine tissues

  • Development of new methods to grow primary cell cultures,

  • Establishment and characterization of cell lines from human and murine tissues,

  • Development of Flow Cytometry Analytical Ability,

  • Repository of protocols for primary tissue cultures, and

  • Repository and inventory for cryo-preserved primary tissue cultures.
